Haha!!! Man you just made me laugh so much. "I'm actually scared to get on the interstate" you couldn't imagine how funny that was to me!

Can't wait to hear how it sounds after the resonator is on!!

LOL Glad I could bring you a chuckle. :)

With the windows rolled up doing 78-80 the interstate wasn't actually as bad as I thought cruising along at 2,900 RPM. Had the radio off the whole way even. Still... could be better.

Sorry to hear the not goods on headers so far. Sounds like your day was about as crappy as mine. Fingers crossed for big power.

Hopefully the resonator cleans things up a good bit! Then we'll hope for some power gains to make all this money and time actually worth something...

Damn man! All that trouble to get those headers in, and for it to sound like that?! I sure do hope those resonators get the job done. As for HP numbers, I still think they'll put out some decent numbers. Fingers crossed!

So after 2 days my check engine light came on. Code P013A. O2 Sensor.

So much for URD's O2 simulator...

I'm expecting HP gains. After seeing the factory "header" I was shocked. Literally all three ports dump into one trough like an inch from the motor. They do not travel at all before mixing. And within just a few inches they go straight into a catalytic converter. You've got instantaneous bottle neck for exhaust flow.

It sure did look like that when I saw the picture of stock "exhaust manifold" lol. Still excited to see what the URD headers can do on the dyno. Kinda sucks another cel came on though :(

In the meantime, I'll slaving away at unloading the Pelfrey HC W/Swingout by hand :(

Expos arrived the week before. But I'm tempted to just mount the HC on stock suspension! :). Saving up for Kings suspension, haven't decided on UCA yet.

After 24 miles my check engine light came back on. Same P013A error code. O2 sensor issue. I need to call URD tomorrow I guess.

Okay - got a 12" Vibrant Resonator installed today. Changed the exhaust sound a LOT. Much more mellow - and the clapping, popping, clanking rasp of yesterday is gone. I can accelerate now! Yay! So tomorrow we'll be dyno testing to see if these URD Headers (and lack of catalytic converter) have any benefit.

Here's a comparative video showing before, after, and today.

    Okay final results are in!

These are "real" RWHP numbers (i.e. the small number). Blue line is WITH the URD SPEC-U headers. Red line was before install.

It is hard to tell, but as advertised, there are gains in all RPM ranges (at least on TQ). It's nice to see no losses at low RPM. That's where I want it for offroad uses!

Because my truck is an automatic the graph looks pretty weird!

Gain of roughly 16 HP and 24 TQ.
