On the west coast. I just drove from Houston to Salem, Oregon this week through New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California. From the time I hit Nevada and California to my destination in Oregon I swear I saw a ton of 2nd gens. From stock to built and everything in between. I guess I'm pisssed because my 2nd gen is in my garage at my house in Houston (I drove our RX 350 this trip). If it wasn't because I want my two kids to be more comfortable on this trip I'd be in my truck. Just want to say good job west coasters. Y'all have some good looking rigs! Can't wait to get back to my truck in 3 weeks. That is all.

Just got home from Dubai and although the Toyota's over there are different that what we have 9 out of 10 vehicles there are Toyota's (HiLux and Prado's). Taxi's are Camry's, what they call "Limo's" are Camry's in Lexus clothing and Land Cruisers are 4-Runners.

Seen a few hundred of them and not a single TD. Gas is cheeeeep there so no need to buy a TD to try and gain efficiency I guess.

That makes sense I suppose, either way those things are my unicorn.. I could get into a long rant about how I hate GM and MBUSA but that's a discussion more appropriate for when there is alcohol and Kleenex nearby.

Well there were plenty of Turbo Diesels, Fords and Dodges, all with straight pipes, tuners and lead foot behind the wheel. I honestly thought I had somehow wound up in the hills of the Appalachian Mountains not Jumierah in Dubai a couple nights.

I live in Hawaii and owned 2 Taco's, stock 2011 TRD Off Road then traded that for a 2013 TRD Off Road 6 Speed. I like to cruise through the dealerships to look at the new models and saw an Xrunner for a decent price, so i bought it since they are discontinued now. Unfortunately couldn't afford to own 2 BADASS trucks so I had to make a hard decision and sold the 4x4. I regret it everyday because I see it driving around sometimes and think about when that used to be me. But the mileage in the X is way better and a lot more fun as a daily. Here they are together and seperatelyIMG_1937.jpgIMG_2057.jpgIMG_0433.jpg

No shit. I'm in Kihei on vacation with my family and I kid you not when I say I can't drive anywhere without seeing Tacomas EVERYWHERE! It's almost ridiculous. Just today I counted no less then 12 between Kihei and big beach, I stopped counting after 12. There were 5 Tacomas parked across the street from the surf shops where you all go surfing. The dealership on Maui has 59 gen 3 Tacomas on their lot.

    Stuff, things, this, an ADS
Hawaii intersections are funny. There is always almost 2 or more tacos. I would almost bet per capita there are more tacomas driven in the islands then anywhere else. An yea I hate going on vacation without my truck, but at least you don't have a rental car.

I lived in Newport Beach Ca for 30 years and all I saw in the last 5 were tacos everywhere. I fill in love with them and sold my Chevy 2500 12" of lift and 40's to buy my beloved 2nd gen ! I love'em!!
