My truck is a 2.7 4 cylinder 2010 Toyota Tacoma I have replaced my U-joints and it has not solved my problem. When I go to stop at a stop sign it sounds like my drive is churning. I can feel it vibrating through my shifter. The truck only has 92,xxx miles on it. I can't figure out out. Any help is greatly appreciated.

So is it doing the exact same thing AFTER the U-joint replacement? If not, what was it doing before; what is it doing now?

The squeaking from the U-joints stopped after replacement, but the churning when stopping is still there. The center bearing seems okay. It didn't make any noise when I spun it by hand and was very smooth

Hmmm, so this is only happening when coming to a stop? No other time?

It does it in neutral as well. Doesn't matter what I do its pretty loud. The harder I stop the louder it its.

So this is only when the vehicle is moving, and specifically only when stopping? And in gear or out makes no difference?

If I have that right, my question would be when were the brakes last serviced?

I'm going to say it sounds like a brake issue as well. Pull the wheels, inspect the breaks, clean em,and lube em if they seem normal.

I put new brake pads on about 5 months ago I checked them last week & they looked fine. I don't think it'should the brakes because it does it when I'm rolling to a stop as well as when I hit the brakes

I would change the transmission fluid and the rear end dope.

What about those tires? Those are off road...
    When did you lift it?
And on a side note.... Where n Ga are you?

    I have one question.

What do you mean " My Drive Is Churning "?

The only churning I have ever been associated with is churning butter. But I'm a bit older.
