I have to disagree I think they both drive about the same on road. I test drove a jeep and thought it drove the same.
    However if I didn't want a truck I'd probably be a jeep.

Regardless as long as you're happy. :thumbsup:Congratulations on your new vehicle.

I have to laugh.. I trade my cars and trucks in as much as this guy... I however stopped with the Toyota :)

enjoy your new jeep, we looked at a nice blue Rubicon before the Toyota.. My kid didn't like crawling in and out of the rear seat/doors, seeing how I don't sit in the back and his comfort counts, I didn't buy it. <--- seriously only reason.

Interesting you feel that way. I rented JK Unlimited a few times on vacation. Steering had more than an inch of slop due to the use of a steering box instead of rack and pinion. The seat was too high and hurt my knees on long drives.

Does the JK use c-clips to retain the driveshafts in the axle? If so, that may happen sooner than you think.

True but for the money you get more capability. Jeep has antiquated technology while tacoma is evolving for the better I think

What lift did you have on the 16?

Good luck with the Jeep! They are truly fun vehicles. We got rid of our Jeep that was only 2 years old and had all sorts of issues. Seems most wranglers I come across have issues too so hopefully yours will turn out better!

Depends where you live. Usually on trades you save difference in sales tax on the trade value

You said this in another thread only 14 days ago now sell for a Jeep ?? :angrygirl:

" I still need to take some good pics of mine and post, just got it this week. Love my SR5 4x4 with bigger tires and wheels. Got my ceramic tint yesterday. This truck is much more fun to drive than ford. Doesn't feel like damn school bus! My stereo is fine, no need for upgrade for me. Of course my priorities are different now that I have kid and pushing late 30's."

Aren't you the one telling people to trade their Tacoma if they aren't happy? You should be singing him praises for making a quick decision and dumping it.

Just be sure to wave back at the other jeepers. They really get butt hurt if you don't.
