    Lol yea tru. Could i just add like a half inch space in between where that nut is or would that be to much upward pressure on that nut

    The spacer goes on the bottom side and (if I remember correctly) is sleeved to prevent the shock piston from movin upward. Adding a spacer on the top side would only visually fix your problem while the stuck was siting flat but if you push down on it (or hit a bump) the piston would just move upward through the housing and render it useless

    If you don't want the black plastic boot; that metal sleeve pops right out and you can just stick that into the assembly w/o the boot.

    Hopefully you're spacing your bump stops. You are in the danger zone of running out of up travel on the 5100 with that big of a spacer.

    Im not sure if it's different install than FJ, but spacer below the nut should go below rubber bushing, like a sleeve inside of strut tower

    TIP: put a zip-tie on top of boots around metal part, it's PITA to reassemble if rubber part comes off
