I just told you I don't have that issue. Mine came off the same assembly line like all the other 1000'sk!
Why do you always try and berate me? I at least know a thing or two over you, of this I'm sure because I know where my A$$ is and you don't!
    lolo!

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!

Smitty99, love ya dude, truly feel bad for the issues you have with you truck. I have had a few minor ones but nothing like you are. I think at this point if I was your dealership I would just take your keys back and say "pick anything off the lot and it's yours". It's too bad you can't enjoy your truck. I am maybe fortunate but owned Toyota trucks for over 20 years. This one is my favorite! Good luck.

The TSB for transmission was actually a pleasant surprise. Bear in mind that only have about 100 miles on it so far. But it really has made a difference it seems. Whether or not it sticks through the learning phase of the transmission has yet to be seen. Now if they can get my rear end, vibrations and leaf Springs permanently fixed I'll be much happier.

    TLTR- ^^
I take my learning from factory training, technical manuals, industry seminars and interaction with colleagues, and real life experiences, and not from links on the internet, thanks but not thanks.
    Hope that helps

As good as your offer sounds to you, that’s not how this works. I don’t have any problems but you do. I’m just trying to help out here. I do have have broad and extensive experience in the field.
Think of me as your doctor, you have a problem and he prescribes some medicine, and you pay him.
You pay for the medicine and if it they don’t work or make things worst, you go back and pay him again.
He then offers to perform surgery and if you agree, he gets the money approved by the insurance or you pay cash upfront. He performs the surgery, things go south and he gets to bury his mistake, but collects his pay and moves on to the next patient.
Now that we understand each other, back to the issue.
First off, all rear diff, mechanical interactions have noise. But if properly installed, it will be at a standard and low acceptable lvl. This noise is made by the gears clashing, bearing friction, oil, housing resonance, so its unavoidable.
But if the gear backlash is set to spec, carrier bearing adjusted right, and the pinion bearing preload (measured in inch lbs) is set to spec, oil viscosity and lvl is correct, it will be trouble free, noise free for a long time, more often for the life of the vehicle. And sometimes, for the life of another vehicle. No brain surgery needed.
    Now on to the tires.
All tires make NOISE you can hear. Some more than others, some so loud that some ppl can’t stand them either.
Your tire is in constant friction with the road, and the air that’s in between the road and the tire pressure too contributes to friction, by way of traction.
The tire has grooves to channel water, mud, snow, air etc. It all makes noise, how much depends on the main purpose of the tire, or what it was mainly designed to do.
And it’s all a compromise in engineering, you can’t have one thing without compromising something else.
For better or worst, It’s really a work of art and engineering marvel most ppl will never understand or appreciate.
My tires do clearly make audible noise, but my diff does not. This noise is a ’normal’ level characteristic of the tire.
It would be good if ppl started using their smart devices or record their issues to better help and understand problems, as oppose to ppl who just have an axe to grind and never seem to get their issues resolved while others do and move on.

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!
