Is this the only issue you're having with your truck?

Did you add larger tires? Maybe it's the stiff suspension on the sport causing issues. My TRD off-road steers fine

If that's it then you're doing pretty good :)

Mine is a *little* stiff but not bad at all really for having AT tires and the Sport suspension though it does bump steer a bit because of the stiffness I assume. I had the factory Bilsteins on my Tundra (Rock Warrior pkg) and even larger, heavier, and higher load range tires on it and it wasn't as bad, but it was a bigger truck. Not a big fan of the Hitachi shocks on here, but it did help it corner pretty well when I had the stock highway tires on it, but that's all but gone with the ATs.

I do feel that it takes an awful lot of cranking to turn the wheels when backing out or parking though, but my second vehicle is a Mustang so that may be why . I do appreciate how you can actually change the stiffness of the wheel on it though, it has comfort, normal, and sport modes to adjust stiffness and sensitivity. A cool trick.

I think it depends on what vehicle you came from last. I find mine incredibly smooth, but I came from an early 2000's truck. I have driven a 2008 ford focus which takes a considerably extra amount of force to turn the wheel. I don't think the steering is stiff. But seriously if you want peace of mind go to a dealership and tell them you want to drive a few on the lot to compare

Drive it down about 50 miles of washboard road at 45mph +...that should break her in lol

It's stiffer compared to my 4R LTD, but I have aftermarket tires on the Taco so it's no a fair comparison.

    Hope that helps
    cheers!
