    Hey everyone,

I am currently looking to purchase some all terrain tires for my 2013 Double Cab Tacoma. I am not looking to break the bank on a new set, but am looking for any advice for an affordable all terrain tire that would really make my Tacoma really stand out. My price limit is around $700 for the set. Let me know what good suggestions you all have!! Pictures of your Tacoma with All Terrain tires would be great!

I love my ST Maxx. Haven't found a scenario that they didn't perform flawlessly

    A lot
I have the ST Maxx's now - they are heavy in a load range E.

Noticed it at the fuel pump.

    Great tires though.

The fuel doesn't bother me for the performance that they offer. FWIW, I get better fuel economy on my 255/80-17's than my prior 265/75-16's, both ST maxx.

I bought the Cooper AT3s off the coupon deal here for $406. Another $70 to mount and balance.
    Love them.

So far, Hankook Dynapro ATM: Cheap, works great in all conditions I have used it in (street, sand, snow, mud, rocks), and is quiet at highway speed.

I have the Cooper AT3's on my F-150 in 285/70R17 and they are quiet and ride well/wear well. They look good too. Looking at the ST Maxx for the Tacoma because I have been happy with Cooper's AT3's. I've always liked BFG's (Got 60k miles out of the last KO's in 285/70R17) and was hesitant to brand hop but glad I did.

I had Michelin LTX AT2 on my 2013 taco they were great in the rain and snow (i live in one of the snowiest citys in the US) they had tons of tread and were great off road. Just a heads up Michelin owns BF Goodrich.

Those are photos from when they were new, yes.
I have run them before... replaced them around 33,000 mi, I think. They weren't worn out. This set is... I need to check, maybe 15,000 miles now?

I'm running Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac's on my Gen1. They're about a year old and are in great condition after both city and off-road driving. Few pics below.

    Not too many replies yet?
Maybe because there are already a million tire threads on TW?

I will add that in addition to the two sets of Hankooks I have run, among my three 4x4 Tacomas I have also run Toyo Open Country AT, Cooper Discoverer ATR, Cooper Discoverer STT, Definity Dakota AT (Pep Boys brand made by Cooper), and naturally BFG Rugged Trail TA (that comes on the Off Road TRD).

Of the 6 different tires I have run, only the Cooper Discoverer STT and the BFGs would I NEVER buy again. The STT (a mud terrain 3 ply sidewall tire) was extremely loud on the highway and was terrible in sand. They looked awesome, and I got the most comments from people who saw them when I parked... but since 90%+ of my truck driving is on pavement and at least half the off road driving is in sand, that naturally eliminated them. The BFGs were just a disappointment in flat resistance (Rugged Fails) and lifespan (25,000 miles tops).

OK, just took photos of tires today (9-1-16) and the Dynapros have 15,300 miles on them:
