    Ummm....stuff and more stuff
I have issues with the way my Tacoma hauls my hunting camper. I use my truck for hunting and many times we end up in very rough trails. It is not uncommon for us to have to drive over 8 - 12 inch dia rocks continuously. I recently put a 3 inch lift kit on with 2.5 inch blocks in the back. My concern is that with the camper loaded without 35 gals of water and the quad, I have 1 to 1.5 inches before I hit my bump stops. (Picture looks worse but that is just the angle).

I considered doing air bags but with all the bouncing rolling over the rocks, I have concerns with blowing the bags. Im starting to leaning towards the All-Pro "Expedition" Heavy Duty Rear Leaf Springs. And I could add a leaf if needed.

Thoughts? Anyone have experience with this type of setup?

I would definitely get the expo leaf pack. OME Dakar leaf pack w/ their aal is also an option. I have the expos and can load whatever I can fit and they hold weight very well. The ride is pretty good even unloaded but I have a Leer top on it.

I have had air bags for years and recently installed Dakars. I'm currently running both, as the air bags are my bump stops.

For your stated uses, get Dakars with the AAL and remove the second overload leaf. You'll love it. It rides way better than stock leaf packs.
