I might get one from loan and buy one, since Justin said he broke 2 when he did this.

That sounds like a lot of work! if only vehicle projects went as planned:rolleyes:

I'm following you on IG. I have Dropbox also.

I'll give you $10, for it if we use it and it survives. If we don't use it. I'll buy it straight up.

I'm always looking for an excuse to update my collection. Saw a video with someone using an air hammer to get one out of different vehicle. I was thinking hmmm, air hammer. I may need one.

A shop press would be your friend. I have one and have used it in the past. However that would require you removing the entire LCA but would be easiest. I have a. 12 ton from harbor freight. And works great.

It will save you time if you have a press, and take the whole lca off. The rent tool takes forever, but I was having air compressor issues too and having to constantly wait for the air pressure to build up. It takes a lot of force to get those things pressed in.

One of the problems I ran into, this was a moog replacement.

If you haven't fixed this yet just replace the entire lower. I used the Mev-o-tech brand and I couldn't tell the difference between them and the stock lowers.

Great looking truck. I will watch for it if you are in the West Mobile area. If you see a Barcelona Red TRD Off Road 4x4 with camper shell honk.

Thanks! I remember you saying hey when I first introduced myself a few months back. I've kept an eye out for your Tacoma but there are a lot of them here in Mobile! But you can't miss mine, even without the RTT I'm pretty sure I'm the only one with a allpro pack rack in town.

They have redesigned them, wonder if it will change how hard they are to get in.

Hmm...I have the moog BJ ordered and they will be here Thursday.

I am starting to rethink all of this...I am scared that I get it all apart at the mod day and then cant get the new ones pushed back in. I am then stuck an hr and half away from home. Should I just wait and try and do this closer to home so if I have to leave it up in the air over the weekend, while I find a shop to press them in, or maybe @dcoursler could let me use his press since you are a lot closer? Idk what to do! what do y'all say?

    No...don't... turn back now!

I've lived in Mobile for 3.5 years now and by far my favorite parts of the state are all above Montgomery. I guess I'm just a mountains/woods kind of guy. Plus it's balls hot down here and rains almost everyday.

Well I will be working from home in Birmingham. I will just have to travel to mobile for meetings a few times a year. Have you heard of Southern Light?

I love it down there! My wife and I want to move to the Silverhill or Elberta area at some point in the future. It is hot as ball sack though this time of year. We love the water though
