    What haven’t I changed?
I went camping in the Eagles Nest wilderness area up CO-9 just west of Green Mountain Reservoir last weekend. There are a lot of trails in that area and almost all of them are easy enough that a stock Tacoma can handle them. I recommend getting up there in the morning/early afternoon since an afternoon shower can make the trail really slick. I got caught in one of the storms and my tires were smothered in a layer of clay and made some of the downhill sections really sketchy.

I've camped up in that area before too. Definitely stock Tacoma friendly. Also definitely a muddy mess when it rains.

@Martyinco Peru Creek is also stock friendly and has some pretty epic pull off campsites that you can test out the new RTT trailer setup!!

there is also a great view campsite off Twin Cone just after the switchbacks going up in the woods. Its off to the right you can't miss the epic view the site offers but it will probably be taken so don't count on that one. Twin Cone can get sketchy for a stock rig and trailer after that too so i wouldn't go to much further on that trail if thats where you end up.

Thanks @chenbro I will check out the area, planning on leaving after work on Friday, maybe we will luck out and not have showers that day

You have no idea how much I want to try out the trailer... Its been a lot of work in a very short amount of time but we are ready. If memory serves Peru Creek is over by Montezuma correct?

    I hate being stock :(

    Stuff and junk and things...

Just bigger holes in the inner fender from the uca bolts.

And probably added to the dents in the cab from the bed.

Stick around TW a while, stock won't last. I was going to be stock for a year or two. 17 group buys later... :annoyed:

How can there be so many accidents?!? I hate you denver, and the californians that infest you. If I didn't need that silly green paper stuff I'd be out in the sticks burried underground somewhere right about now. Someday. :frusty:

I just started a job over 12mons ago, I have already seen 7 accidents by the intersection where I work. I think Colorado roads are not out growing the vehicles on the road.

If you're thinking of camping around Peru Creek then I would suggest calling the forest service for White River NF to see if it's allowed. That was going to be my first choice last weekend (farther south near Swan River), but they shut that down when I called because of bear activity.

Ah so that explains why they closed ALL of the camping spots all the way into Keystone. We saw the signs as we came down into Keystone after running Red Cone. We all speculated why. But now we know. @PS78
