strange, I hear back from them within 12 hrs when I email. They even sent me a new one which I just mailed back to them last Friday since the original bypass worked fine after I changed my battery.
I am code free and hope to stay that way. good luck

I was sent a new Bypass last week too, recieved it Friday, installed it Monday morning. So far so good, waiting a couple more days then I'm returning the original to them.

    Too few to list.
Got pics of the bypass and plates installed? I always wondered how it looks and if it looks factory.

Wasn't too bad. For the block off plates, I got the rear one from up top in the engine bay; the front plate, I had the passenger tire off, and went through under the fender. Hardest part for me, was getting my big ass hand where the coolant sensor is, and unclipping it. Probably took 10 minutes of cursing before I finally got it unclipped.

So were you able to confirm that the module that Hewitt Tech sent you originally was a faulty module? I am throwing P0172 and P0102 codes and after emailing Paul back in July about the problem he responded saying to check all of the connections, I did then emailed him saying that I feel like the module must have a internal issue. Paul never responded again and after another 2 emails about a month apart has still not responded or sent me another unit. My truck will throw these codes about 1 time every 100 miles and I only drive my truck on the weekends so it has been tolerable to just reset them every month or so but I am very disaponted with the facvt that they are willing to sell a product for a very high cost and not guarentee it at all. Notice in this thread Paul was very quick to try and sell his product but as soon as a member had a faulty module he has not posted at all.

Seems to me I need to edit my OP. He responded quickly to me when I wanted to buy, but after I already bought I couldn't get a hold of him again.

OP - did you ever get your issue resolved? Their kit is showing $499 now on the website. Before I drop that kind of coin, I'd like to know if it's worth it. Thanks!

I just bought new parts and replaced the valves.. removed the kit as it was throwing another code. Didn't want to fork over the money for the 'new' bypass kit and he wouldn't give me a discount on it either.

my bad man... i re-read the first post and you explained all that. thanks for replying anyway. i'm getting a "pending trouble code - P2443" every once in a while from my ultra gauge, which i believe is the valves. I just clear it and keep on trucking. My pump itself seems to be fine. I did replace the shit foam filter with the K&N one that guys recommended on here. Maybe i'll grab those valves and that route.

Hewitt if you are reading this you need to take care of Large. I want to buy this product but I'm kind of having trust issues. I'd like to see a quality product with trustworthy service to back it up for $500. This type of behavior is putting off a lot of folks ready to send money your way.

They did end up warrentying my module and I have not had a single issue since. Just thought I should update with a positive turn out in the end. Get the plug and play module and you will be fine. More money but better than replacing parts that could just go bad again.

Did you completely remove the pump or pump and valves or does it all have to stay after the bypass to keep from having trouble codes?

Sorry to burden you again but if I end up with valve or pump failure(s) and a code before installing the bypass can I reset the code with my ug to still get the job "done" or at that point is it too late? Also, glad to hear Hewitt is on the right track. Obviously their research and engineering is worth some praise.

If any of this has already been covered I apologize in advance. Thanks

I left it, I don't know that it has to stay. I'd love to remove it all since it's not being used any longer

You can reset with a code reader and get back on the road. I kept a code reader in my truck for a few months while I was researching how to fix the problem.
