I just asked him what color it was so I could get an idea of which SC he was talking about. I haven't seen it yet. He's a deisel mechanic and bought a 98 Tacoma for a hunting rig since he has a brand new Dodge Cummins. He said he took it straight off of his Tacoma and it's just sitting at his house. We both have the same motor so I wasn't worried till he said " bronze " SC. I'll have to get him to send some pictures. He lives 5 miles from me and shipping was always the deal breaker before. To be continued...

What I meant was he lives 5 miles from me but I don't know him just his address. Prior SC's I looked into buying, shipping was always the deal breaker, so was the price & people in front of me on the buyer's list. Sorry bout the typo.

Lol, I thought you were saying 5 miles was too far to drive to go and have a look at it.

It's not the mileage to go see it. I'm waiting till my buddy who has a 2012 Tacoma w/ a SC can come with me to make sure everything is there. I don't really know what I'm looking at for a complete kit. The guy said it's complete but he just wants to sell it. My buddy also had a SC on his 01 Tacoma. So it'd just be easier.

Well here's the SC fellas! It is the grey one. You can see the TRD just barely on the top. Does it look like it's all there? Not really the best photos

How do you get that sticker you guys are talking about? I'm about to pull the trigger on the SC that guy has for sake and I don't want to have to worry about problems down the road with smog. I'm going to be installing it myself and the guy who is selling is going to help. He said he just took it off the truck at 170,000 miles and has no idea about the SC but everything is there. He bought the truck at 170,000 miles. My truck has 244,000 miles. Is this just a problem waiting to happen. He called the guy he bought it from and he said the nose cone bearing possibly needs to be replaced

Caked different shops and found one who would take a print out of the carb sticker.

Thanks for the heads up. Does it have to be OEM parts since it's a TRD SC?

    I have a trd on my 4.0, & it is a eaton m90.

If you can figure out who makes it for toyota, there are rebuild kits online & video as well.
Just google the make & model & im sure you'll find a ton of stuff related to the one you have. I know I did.
