Ordered! Can't have @StevoNB the only one with one of these in Canada :canada:

What are your thoughts on the scratch resistance of these? Would it take some incident to scratch the case or will everyday use eventually wear down the finish? I ordered the machined blue if it matters.

Hahah. There probably won't be too many in Canada with the extra shipping, tax and shitty Canadian dollar running the price up to almost $100.

You're right about that! Shipping is a little rough for a small fob, but at least sent through USPS it will probably sneak through without the extra tax hit. Now if Canada Post can just avoid a lockout we might actually get them!

Sorry about the $20 hit for shipping, I wish the cost was less just to get to Canada.

This is a new product so I don't have any long term testing on the durability of the finish. The anodized finishes are generally pretty durable. I have used this supplier for my shift knobs and have seen no noticeable wear in my vehicles. Now the fob case will get banged around a little more so depending on how rough you are on things it may or may not show wear. I installed a key ring on a test piece and was surprised at how it barely left a mark.

Also the black finish is the harder and thicker than the others. And the clear will show any scratches and wear the least.

Is it possible to see the difference between the matte and machined colors? I'm thinking machined black because I prefer a satin black. However, if it's too glossy, I'll go with the matte.

My instant gratification would eat me

When will these be in stock ?

These are so cool! I've broken too many plastic housings over the years. Hope to see a 3rd Gen model some day..

I'm currently testing a small internal mod to my design that will eliminate all or most of the range loss. Results so far vary from 45-115 ft depending on the tester. I'm thinking it's going to be about the same as the factory fob.

A lot of crap and too much money spent
This is really nice looking. I will wait until you have the range issue fixed to where it is similar to stock.

Thanks. I've got two third party testers that are telling me that the range is as good as stock due to a internal mod I made to the design.
