I'd be interested in seeing Toyotas written policy that has complete disregaurd for the magnuson moss warranty act since if the dealer is blowing smoke it could save you allot of money....And if you find it don't send it to my dealer lol

i havent found where in the mag-moss law that they specifically say they will warranty anything out of their factory spec. btw for those of u keeping ur trucks perfectly stock but taking them off paved roads you are also voiding toyotas warranty. it states that by leaving the paved road you are knowingly and willfully voiding your vehicles warranty... toyota does this because the dust, dirt, mud could cause a part to squeek and or wear out prematurely. this does apply for any and all vehicles Toyota sells and it is on their sales contract.

Where? Show us. Here is the warranty-

Where does it state "by leaving the paved road you are knowingly and willfully voiding your vehicles warranty"?

When you reflash the ecu, do the fuel tables get reset? Meaning, the relearning process is reset.

I added some bars to go across the center section of my Body Armor 4x4 RockSteps for door ding protection. They are just 3/16 steel c-channel from Home Depot bolted up to the original threaded holes in the steps. VHT Wrinkle Plus paint is a pretty good match. I also added some grip tape to the steps.

Better Built 73210096 Tool box finally arrived and very pleased with it.

Ordered UWS originally on Amazon. Twice box was delivered smashed. Shipped in single ply card board box. Was over it and requested money back.

Went to local Auto Zone and specially ordered this BB box. Did this knowing it would be easy to exchange if delivered damaged. This box was delivered in padded box within another box. Great service.

Took my truck in for 10K service at Findlay Toyota in Las Vegas.
Me: Check my trans fluid... The right way.
Tech: it's a lifetime sealed unit. We never check it. It would require a flush.
    Me: wrong. Do it anyway.
    Tech: ok.
    Me: do the tsb
    Tech: what tsb
Me: of course. Gave him tsb number.
Me: rear leafs squeaky at the shackles
Tech: ok, we check for you.
    Me: grease the zerks.
    Tech: ok.

They call that my truck is done. Tech says they checked trans fluid and it was good. They did the flash. "You have aftermarket suspension and that what's squeaking. We greased and torqued the suspension" But you have aftermarket parts so there is not much w can do. I explained an AAL and shocks have nothing to do with leaf shackles squeaking. The paperwork I got back states "aftermarket suspension causing noise"

So, clearly Findlay is ok, but not great. My truck is less squeaky, but not perfect. I could tell the difference in the tranny shifting, but I need to drive for a week to really see the difference. I did notice an immediate shift from P to D, and I set the cruise for a minute and it didn't hang in fourth. One thing I noticed is that it used 5th gear more appropriately. Previously, in town it couldn't wait to get to sixth only to have to downshift to 3rd seconds later. Yet on the hwy it wanted to stay in fourth going 70. Those two things have changed. It uses 4,5,6 much better.

In other news, I received my relentless fab mid and tcase skids. Just waiting for my mobtown sliders and I'm getting all this gear on. Hi lift mounted and off-road recovery kit ready. Joe, where's my sliders!

Also, for those of you that have faithfully read all 1389 pages... Go back and read the first few pages. Awesome. One dude was the first to get husky liners and it was amazing. We get to see the first interior led retrofit. I may go back and find the first plasti-dip guy. He's should get a metal.

Memories... When opt7 headlights were only a twinkle in a new Tacoma owners eye and ko2's were the envy of all. What's your lift? Any rubbing?

Just went there myself for several issues and not one got fixed. All said normal operation or unable to duplicate even though I showed them in the service drive. Definitely will not go back to this dealer as they didn't care about the issues I proved in the service drive. The even refused to apply the tsb"s saying they couldn't find any issues. What a joke

Whatever you do, I highly advise against going to AutoNation Toyota in LV. Bought my truck from them in February. I'm STILL having to deal with their corporate office for shit they haven't done...
