I was watching the Paris-Dakar Ralley pre race show and noticed something. The guys that set up the course had 3 Toyota Hilux's and 2 Ford Raptors. The Hilux's were bone stock and were running circles around the Raptors. It could just be the camera man's preference but I thought it was funny. The Raptors were so heavy that they were getting stuck in the sand and were actually to wide to go down alot of the trails that they were scouting. I love my Tacoma!

There's things I've done with my taco that guys have said they wouldn't attempt with their 1/2 ton. My stock leaf springs with a $70 AAL can hold more than the F-150's I work with.

I think the Raptor is cool truck. As for the price it's not out of line for the equipment that it has. I'd buy one if I lived out west.

    I'd rather take blackhawke88's.

I personally think all of the F-150s look ugly. I always see them as a work truck (which is good because they're cheap), or as a thugs pimp mobile. The "Chrome Edition" was a big joke.
