Yep... I just went ahead and got the TRD Sport with every-damn-thing. Glad I did.

Just paid it off today, too.

I did lose $1500 on the trade in, but I got the new one for under $30k. They also dropped about $789 worth of dealer junk fees. I'm happy with the deal.

Yay! lets start bashing "soft" 2wd's and tell people who don't need 4wd what to do. I love these threads

No disrespect intended - just a little joke. I went for the 4wd for the snow and for hunting. No reason to pay for it if you don't need/want it.

    Good looking truck.
Barcalona red is probably my second favorite color.
    Congratulations on the new truck.

    Very nice, OP!

I did a similar thing recently.

    Had a 2014 MGM SR5 DCSB Prerunner

and now have a 2012 Black TX Baja DCSB 4x4

Lost a lot of $$$$ because I spent some coin on modding the Prerunner, but I'm pleased with the Baja and looking forward to the adventures ahead.

Did pretty much the same thing last year. Bought MGM dclb V6 PreRunner SR5 in January 2015 after trading my 2008 GMC Sierra dcsb Z71 4x4 SLT in. Drove the PreRunner 1500 miles including a few hunting trips through some mud and realized I would not be happy long haul. Ordered my current 2015 dcsb TRD Off Road 4x4 Barcelona Red Metallic and could not be happier.

Moral of this story, get what you want the first time even if it cost more. It is cheaper than taking the route I did.

It was not entirely all about 4wd although that was the primary factor, I also like the short bed maneuverability and the fact it would fit in my garage.
