There's a guy who got to lvl 40 with the bots. He did it out of pure curiosity. He's asked Niantic to delete his account as it would be unfair to other players for him to start battling in gyms.

This game really knows how to piss me off...

I was coasting around the neighbohood on my bike trying to get the last .1km to hatch my 2k egg. Wasn't on the hunt for anything since there was nothing but rats around me. Then a Golbat pops up so I figure I'd get it real quick. He was a 461 so I hit him with a razz and a greatball. Popped out. Missed with the next 8 greatballs. Down to my last one. Nailed him. 'Nice.'....popped out. Down to only pokeballs. Hit him with another razz. Missed with about 4 pokeballs. Nailed him with another 'Nice.' Popped out...Hit him with another razz. Ended up popping out of 2 more pokeballs before sticking and missing with about 5 more. I hate bats so much!!!!!!

His arc sucked too. Once I got out of that battle my egg hatched...

ok - so I checked the gym I owned yesterday and the blue team has come back with vengeance. It now has a a flarion, 3 vapereons, an exegguter, and a 1700 snorlax. I don't even know what to use to try and get it back. What kind of pokemon is a snorlax?

Normal, do you have a flareon? that would work on the exegguters, electric type for vaporeons and water type for flareon

 

As far as I know mew, mew2, ditto, the 3 legendary birds aren't in the game yet

 

Still a newb to the gym battles - I thought I get 1 pokemon to try and work through it. Can I pick multiple and switch it up mid battle? Start off with my Vapooreon and knock off the flarion then switch to my Flarion and knock off the exeggutor. Pull out my Pikachu and take out the Vapes, then switch back to Vapoo to own the Snorlax?
