I think we've gotten some pretty good input from your comments.

In the next couple days, we will incorporate all the good comments into the design, and get it out for quote.

After we get the numbers back, pricing will be announced.

This looks like exactly what I have looking for. Should work perfect under my foldacover G4 elite.

I've got the same and this looks like a nice solution; would like to be able to position this in the front of my bed.

Was wondering. Since I have a bakflip HD. I still am able to use the side rails but they are dropped about 1 1/2 to 2 inches. Is it possible to put in a second set of mounting holes so the unit sits up higher and more flush with the tonneau?

A lot of people use Backflips, so maybe I'll put a send set of holes in for that.

The basket on the site sits above the bed. This one sits below the bed.

Very nice! What about one that is not perforated or is solid on the bottom?

Shipping weight would become a huge concern.

I don't even have a tonneau but I like this better than ones that stick out above the bed. I think it would look pretty sharp and be useful even on trucks without them!

If only my budget weren't kaput from other things I need to get done...

Still finalizing the design, then I have to go out for material quotes.

@KB Voodoo just a heads up this, I as well use a cover from BAK industries. Mine is the revolver x2. While it's different from the Bakflip I'm fairly certain that the brackets they come with to lower the factory rails are the same. If that's the case, not only does it lower the factory rails but it also pushes them out a bit more. A bracket takes place of the original mounting point of the factory rails. Then the rails bolt on to the bracket. So if these baskets length are made to fit the original rails, it may have a problem getting to to work with folks that have relocated their factory rails due to the tonneau covers, BAK industries being the only one to my knowledge that relocates the oem rails.

The only way I can see this to work is if the basket was designed shorter length wise but would require a mounting bracket that's not only height adjustable but length adjustable as well.

Just thought I'd mention as I feel a lot of tonneau cover owners would be interested in this product.
