I bought my 07 4x4 DC a few weeks ago w/ 35k miles. I'm trying to figure out if the TSB has been done. The truck has a 3" lift w/ blocks in the rear. I count a 4 leaf setup back there but unsure if that means there's an AAL, the TSB has been done, or if I have the stock setup (am I counting the leaves correctly?).

When I took it in for an oil change last week and I casually asked about the TSB, the service manager told me they'd have to see the bottoming out to fix it. I kind of blew it off since I doubt I'd ever load it up that much... I'd rather spend my energy on the front growling issue anyway...

Took it in armed with TSB numbers for ECM and Suspension TSBs. Both taken care of with no problems.

Lorensen Toyota, Old Saybrook, CT .....Balked at first, but succumbed when I emailed them the TSB for 2009-10. They detailed my truck when they did the work, along with the 5K mile service.

Ok they did it with no problem but they replaces all the shocks and the rear springs but charged me 149 cause it had a lift on it? any body heard of this. They also are doing the drive line replacement when the parts come in. They also did the alignment and the 30k inspection.

Longo Toyota, El Monte, Cali. Had to have the truck inspected, then bring it back when the parts arrived.

I never would have known about this if it wasn't for this forum, our first trip towing our 23' Airstream was a tad bouncy, I was thinking I was going to need to beef up the rear suspension, nice of Toyota to do it although I sort of pisses me off that they don't just come with 4 leafs ! They should have better brakes as well, that's next.

Toyota should lower the tow rating on these trucks IMO. We'll see, I hope I don't end up having to buy a bigger truck to tow our 5500 to 6000 LB trailer.

I have an appointment with San Marcos Toyota, San Marcos, Texas on Monday. I tried to get it done at the dealership where I bought the truck, Champion Toyota in Austin. What a run around I got from them! Good luck even trying to get hold of someone in the service department. The first time I called Champion I asked for the service department and when I was switched over I was talking to the guy about the TSB and you know what his response was? "What's a TSB?" Shoulda hung up right then.

To make a long story short, I called San Marcos Toyota and got the service department right away and after the obligatory warning about a stiffer ride made an appointment for Monday. Will let you know the results later. TTFN

I've been dealing with the same dealership. I got the run around on the 40mph vibration, with them saying it was due to the lift. That's fine. I then took it in for the 20mph vibration (TSB) and engine ticking (TSB). They finally replaced the rear engine mount (TSB) but told me the other noises are all normal.

I'm about to hit 36k miles and don't ever plan to return to that dealership. I will use the one up in north Austin from now on if I need warranty work.

Technically it is only covered by the 3 year/36k warranty, but some have had it performed beyond that. It can't hurt to talk to a few dealers and see what they say.

Toyota Plaza st John's NL Canada. TSB Done Jan 29th.

My 2007 4x4 4cyl reg cab (US Truck) was not included in the TSB.
I figured I might as well try before the warranty was up.
At first they said the shocks were fine.
If you complain enough and stress the "unsafe ride" with load they will give.
I also told them third party arbitration is never fun for anyone, as soon as I mentioned arbitration the said they would call me back shortly and within 30minutes they called back and said the parts were on order.

The rear of the truck is much higher.
Front 5100 are now on order to level it out.
the truck now looks very low in the front compared to the back.
