Surprisingly not. I was a little upset that they ran out of the apple pie. I figured since I haven't had it before I would try it. Ended up bringing the growler home. :D

No I do not. Just thought I would see if some one would catch it.

I did not see that they had done that. But they did just start canning their regular ipa.

This is interesting. There has been a big shake-up at Ballast Point. The CEO, CCO, founder, and head brewer all depart within 3 days of each other.

Founder Jack White Jr. and chief operating officer Yuseff Cherney — who also served as the company’s head brewer and distiller — have officially departed, according to Michael McGrew, a spokesman with Ballast Point’s parent company, Constellation Brands.

White and Cherney’s exit – news of which was shared with Ballast Point employees via email on Friday — comes just three days after Ballast Point president and CEO, Jim Buechler, and chief commercial officer Earl Kight, left the organization.

Flat 12. 1/2 cycle IPA. Local, chewy, with a snappy hop. 6.5% IBU 104. Good walk about beer

Any chance you have an extra bottle or two of Huna lying around and would be willing to make some trades? I live in Orange County CA and can get you almost any beer from here. I've got an extra bottle of Fundamental Observation to trade as well.

I work out of Monterey Park, always down to hit a brewery for some post work beers

Ballast Point sold out a while ago, no surprise that those people are leaving. They just made millions and have been taken over by a large scale brewer that is trying to destroy the independent craft beer industry, which is one of the reasons I refuse to support Ballast Point in any way shape or form.

From what I have heard Huna is a rarity. I was speaking with our server at the brewpub and he's been offered 500 for the bottle he has. I can't say I have come across any in my travels either.

Yass - pretty damn good for a hot day beer, little strong however.

EDIT: Did not realize it was 12% ABV. Kinda hit me. Makes sense why it tasted a little strong.
