    Hey folks.

    So it is looking like UCSD is not going to take me on the kidney transplant waiting list due to my heart condition. I am currently listed at UCLA but the wait time for my blood type (B+) is currently 8 to 14 years.

    The longer I stay on dialysis, the worse my heart condition will get as the aggressive heart disease is progressing as time rolls on. The docs are telling me my best option is to find a live donor sooner than later. If I wait for full term on the list, they estimate my heart and body may not be able to handle the transplant surgery. Given this new development I am taking to the internet to find a potential live donor.

    If you or anyone you know is interested in being a donor, please feel free to contact me for the information packet. The donor does not have to be a B or O. Paired matching is an option for anyone who is of another blood type.
