I think you mixed up "The LED on the right lights up way more than the halogen on the left, and brighter too !!!"...unless I'm mistaken I think you mean the LED on the left lights up way more... :)

The "bulbs" themselves don't put off any heat. LEDs don't emit any heat. The backside does have a heat sink to keep the LED circuitry cool. With that said, I have never put them in the fog light housing. I believe the bulb size is an H11 in the fog light. I have them in stock as well.

I have LED bulbs in both my headlights and fog lights. No problems. In fact, LEDs run cooler than the halogen bulbs. :D

they are fantastic. there are a couple posts in this thread of folks that have installed them. HERE o0oSHADOWo0o has a mini review a couple posts up as well. He didnt purchase his from me but I am sure they are pretty much the same thing.

I love mine. Couldn't be happier.

Indeed they do, this can be a problem in climates where headlight icing will be an issue. Halogen headlights provide enough heat to keep the headlight ice free to some extent. This is the main issue that keeps me from converting.

Very true. And despite the lighting output advantages, this is a real concern for switching. Fortunately i live in an area that doesn't ice/snow terribly often. However, switching the bulbs out back to halogen during those times of the year is an option. Isn't terribly difficult.

While I agree with every word you typed, the problem with switching seasonally is that ,because of the longer days, I don't need headlights that often in summer, and I need them all the time in winter because sunrise is after I go to work and sunset is generally before I go home.

Hey bud! I just recently installed some OPT7 LEDs in Taco and I don't have a clean cut off. Do you have any solutions that will help?

I know this is an older thread, I have a set of these LED Headlight bulbs that I never installed. Anyone still running these? Any issues with them? Thinking about installing them over the weekend.
