I hear some popping or electrical current staying somewhere maybe some wires touching. My 2000 4cil 2.7 prerunner is getting me worried since that clicking sound has popped fuse for speedometerlight every time I put a new 10 amp fuse it pops as soon as I insert it. Hopefully the clicking sound won't mess up somthing more serious. Clicking starts only at high speeds around 40 to 50 mph. I can cruise at 30 and below and no clicking sound. Thought it was the blinker relay but wasn't it because I ran with ought turn signal relay and clicking still sounded. Please help before my truck catches fire

Something is either loose or wires have rubbed through causing a short.

The clicking could be a relay pulling in and dropping out really hard to say.

If you are unable to fix this yourself it will be cheaper to get it done now before a major melt down that might take out the whole cab harness
