Towing a Big Guy :)

My youngest brother fostered this poor"little" guy. He was found tied to a tree in this hot "South Florida" heat. They asked for him to pick it up from the pound so we went for the 3 mile drive. Hopefully he's able to keep him. Seems like a big cuddle monster and couch potatoe

They say he is about 3 years old. He's a good boy. He weighs 77 pounds. When we got home. I had my door open and he's just amazed at the taco. Lol when I saw that kennel I was like It'll take up my bed

He's had him a few days now. Amazing how he is so protectful over my 3 month old niece. We had a buddy over and he hadn't met the doggie. Pablo was just walking all around the living room with his eyes on our buddy while he held the baby. Only complain we have. He's a big drool monster. So extra mopping up around the house lol. His ears were cropped but his tail is nice and long. Always wagging

Great looking dog. Im a sucker for dogs.... Tell your brother good job for adopting. I know everyone wants registered akc puppies from reputable breeders and what not.... And im not talking bad about that.... But i cant stand seeing the facebook post that shows which dogs were put to sleep to make room for more at the shelters....

I have 2 dogs right now but the local animal shelter just picked up 3 ridgeback mixed puppies, 8 week old, with 3 adult ridgeback mixes as well... From someone neglecting them... I really want one of the pups.... But not sure i should take on another puppy since i just adopted an English mastiff/lab mix puppy 2 months ago LOL

I have always liked ridgebacks though... The navy seals of dogs... So tempting. But my wife is saying 2 is enough.... At least until i get the fence done around our 2 acres.

 

Good on you OP, I used to photograph pitbulls and other homeless dogs for an adoption/rescue group's website so they'd have nice pictures to help them find homes (most places put up terribly depressing photographs of their dogs that don't do anything to help them get adopted). I'd bring lights and colored backdrops and the rescue group would bring all kinds of outfits and accessories and shit, lol. It was sometimes over the top but fun, happy images of the dogs really do make a difference in helping them find homes.

In doing that I learned quickly that pitbulls are the most loving breed of dog there is, it's so sad how terribly misunderstood they are by most of society...I also learned that 99% of all chihuahuas are total dicks.

 

Dude, seriously. I hate those little bastards.

 

Yup...every time I was nearly bitten or attacked it was by a chihuahua, never once had any issues with the pits.

Pits are the best dogs ever.

I have 2 pit mixes and will always have some type of pit dog in my life.

 

Only problem now is the brother took possession of my taco to tote Pablo around. Left me his car. At least it's a 6spd

 

Since everyone in here loves pits, meet Chewy! He's not mine, but my very close friends who is basically family, so I treat him like my own. He's an American Bully.
