No. This is how you would "bridge" the speakers and amp...

You would connect the positive and negative from the amp to the positive and negative of sub #1.
Then you would run a piece of speaker wire from the positive terminal of sub#1 to the positive terminal of sub #2. Then you'd do the same for the negative terminals, run another single piece of speaker wire from the negative terminal of sub #1 to the negative terminal of sub #2.

Now you have one amp pushing two subs.

Good call! BOSS is maybe the worst brand out there IMO. Sits right next to Pyle.

Back in the day I ran quite a few hifonics amps and loved every one of the. I still have a 250x2 in my garage. I'm not sure how they are these days as it's been at least 14 years since I used one of their amps.

He's that's about right. I wouldn't buy BOSS equipment but the specs are right on. You'd end up pushing a little more than the subs are rated at but just play with the bass levels on your head unit...or get a bass knob to control just your subs.

I'd think one amp or more is about space and tastes. I'm running one amp for the mids and highs and another for the sub. But I'd think it's about what you'd like.

For subs I prefer mono block amps but it doesn't really matter it just depends on the amp you want and what power it puts out at what ohm's. You have 2 type R 10's DVC @ 4ohm correct? If so wire them like so to keep the subs at 4ohm with a 4ohm amp.

Now if you get an amp that is stable at 1ohm I'd go this route.

I feel like it would be common sense that if you're titling a thread "Hey I don't know shit about __(insert object of choice here)__" then you really have NO business installing/working/building/whatever said object of choice.

I don't know shit about making clothing, so I buy my own. Pretty simple if you ask me, but then again... this is TW and the Interwebz

I'm gonna bow out of this conversation... that last post may have seemed judgemental, please don't take it that way.

@jjustjjosh137 - please research the brand, not just find another more expensive PoC. Learn about how and where they come up with the power rating, and look into what's available in local stores (those salesmen aren't idiots... well, mostly aren't - they get trained on products and will tell you what's what with those products... they may be there to make money off you, but they won't have a job or stay in business for long if they're caught lying)

No i get it. knowing how to turn wrenches, run wires in a cab or even building a box is one thing, But knowing what watts amps and ohms to put together is a totally different realm. Which is why i rely on educated people to point me in the right direction. So no harm done. I appreciate the advice. :)

+1 to Gs's post above. I'm quite fond of my Alpine MRX-M55 on a single 10 inch Sundown SD3. Maybe use 2 MRX-M110s. That should get you a bit over rated power, but that's fine. My MRX tested at 585W@14.4V(2 ohms) & it's rated at 550W. Make sure your charging system's good for it though. >2kW might require an upgrayedd.
