I've heard try to keep your scent off the sheds. Also don't lose the sheds you're training with like I have lol

First pic of a decent buck this year on my trail cam. Ohio whitetail season opens in late September. So he has plenty of time to let that pretty rack spread and grow!!! Just in time to load him in my Taco!!!

Heard a lot about the U.P. and it sounds like a great place to hunt. It's my first year hunting without a dog, my Griffon past away in January. Annual grouse trip will be in a couple weeks, they were a bonus on the moose hunt.

How are the grouse numbers on your side of the U.P.? Seem to be up over here, just waiting for the leaves to fall to make the shooting a little easier.

    Because spawning?
I want to fish for atlantic salmon and canadian brook trout in the worst way. Putting a moose in the freezer and eating some grouse breasts sounds all right too lol

Same, I've seen a pile of them all year and now they're starting to be seen more and more as the leaves are starting to drop. I saw 2 today when i was out an about. I run bear dogs so i'm in the woods most of the time.

Good looking truck, and good looking dog BTW. Wishing i would've went with the silver instead of the metallic gray. I've got a lot of scratches showing on mine from the woods and the hounds.

Just loaded up for a week of upland hunting in Eastern Montana. Cold and lots of rain with some snow forecast this weekend.

Michigan bear season 2016 so far. Helped fill 6 tags with the use of my hounds so far with a couple more hopefully to go before the end of October.
