55 and I am glad he is almost 18. I had to go through 12 years of school again, I hated it the first time.
Good luck to both of you, it takes loads of energy to keep up with a kid.
I was riding mouthing bikes until I injured my knee, then after the surgery I felt that eating was more important than exercise, well, easier. Gained 50 pounds and now I am trying to find time for exercise.

Get one of those smart phone pedometer apps that tracks footsteps during a 24hr period . Not only will it show how much you walked but calories burned and weight

In just 3 months and a total of 46hrs active time I've walked a record 11k steps in one day , average 5800 steps per day , burned over 17k calories and walked over 125 miles

This has motivated me to go harder & faster to increase those goals

Today so far I've burned 328 calories , 53min active time and walked 6200 steps or 2.9 miles

One of the first things I did to my Taco, of course I vote leave it white
    [IMG]

But I'm biased my first 4x4 was a FJ55 I bought in 1981 with my reenlistment bonus in Wa. State.

Yeah you pay for that rough work down the road. First moved to Mn. 16 years ago I would shoot trap at almost 30 below zero. Now if it is below zero I think no way in hell. Still have to shovel snow and blow it, I'm afraid someone is going to find me frozen to death someday locked up. As it gets colder I can feel the screw in my shoulder, pins, and every sin I have committed against my body. Still hunt at pretty cold temps but when it really starts to hurt I go in, it is supposed to be fun. Have degenerative arthritis in my left ankle and takes a cortisone shot right before hunting season just so I can walk and get past the pain of bone grinding on bone.

My mother had a stroke a couple of years ago and I spent a couple of weeks with her as she went through rehab and recovery. At one point she started laughing and crying and out of the corner of her mouth said golden years my ass, they should be called the rust years. But she never quit and is doing fairly good now. I will not surrender, I've had quite a few good role models in my life.

    Thanks.

Over the last year I lost 53 lbs I'd been carrying since I quit running. Not easy, but good luck!

Shredded my shoulder in '07. 4 anchors and black/yellow shoe laces were installed. Anchors were designed to dissolve in 4 years, but I'm still sporting the laces, lol. It's been pretty good, considering the daily pounding it takes. Still clicks and pops, but fully functional.
The same Doc fixed my torn bicep last year and so far, better than new.

Wow, sorry for the trouble you had with your surgeries. Your story sounds very similar to mine, except I've had 16 surgeries. Did construction work since I was 10 years old, 3rd generation builder. Out on disability now. Have to wear a pain patch and take narcotic pain medication just to make it through the day and to sleep. I also have a nerve disorder caused by working in a mold infested office building. Hope your situation gets better soon.

    Evening everyone !!

Going out to the garage in a few and get the Camaro ready for the chassis fab shop it will be going to tomorrow . Making sure there won't be any issues for the metal fabricator and remove anything that will be needed for easier access plus pull the pass seat

Going to have auto club bring a flat bed tomorrow early morning so it can be at the shop by 0930 . Can't wait to see the finished product when I get it back in 1 month . I'm going to have the cage painted and the sheet metal they're going to roll beads on it to dress it up some plus polish it

That is totally cool. Remember seeing space station fly over here at night, but never captured any photos. Brings back memories. :hattip: To all those who risk their life to better life on our planet!
