    I odered the MX1.3 and verticle mount.
    MX can do transmission temp on 2nd and 3rd gens, the plus doesn't do transmission temps.

    Yeah I have removed that pillar maybe a dozen times or more .. Pop off the oh shit handle covers then there's 2 - 10mm bolts holding it on. Once removed just pop it off

    Got mine today.

    Decided to locate it on the black plastic on the door, just opposite of the mirror. Looks like the best place to me, doesn't block any window space and the mount wont need any modification there either. Just have to figure out how to run the wire :( may have to find an easier place to mount it.

    Trans temp is reading "err" so I guess I got to read the manual to figure it out.
