Hey fellow Toyota owners. I'm new to this and I am curious on what path I should be taking. I have a stock 2013 Tacoma TRD. I'm looking to lift it 3" hopefully so I can put 18-20's on it. I don't really know what path I should be taking on this project, so I thought I would ask around on the forums. Can someone steer me in the right direction, I'm not trying to drop thousands of dollars on a lift.

Look into Bilstein 5100s with OME coils and AAL in the rear.

What about the strut assembly and rear lift options? My knowledge in this is very little and I would hate to order something and be missing a part I need.

Rear lift is up to you. The deaver single AAL is just a single leaf that you add to the pack to gain lift. The HS 3 leaf AAL is 3 leafs, each getting smaller (like a normal leaf spring pack) that you add to the bottom to gain lift. It's supposed to ride smoother, but I have the single and it rides fine. No way for me to compare.

As far as strut assembly goes, that's up to you to decide. If you have them assembled, they'll ship them to you like this and they'll be ready to be swapped out.

If you're having a shop do it, or are a little more mechanically inclined, you can disassemble your old suspension and reuse the top hat. You'll receive your suspension like this

Thank you so much. Last question, so will this just lift only the front of my truck unless I get the rear deaver or leaf?

Correct. Unless you get the deaver AAL or the 3 leaf AAL, this will only lift the front. The option is there to select no rear lift. Here's what it looks like with 2885s (2.5") and no rear lift in.

And for comparison, a 2" AAL in the rear (Deaver is closer to 1.5")

What size tires are you looking to run?
