A little late BUT at my age so what :p

    GOOD MORNING :hattip:

Very quiet weekend for me , Mom and the grands left Thursday early AM.....

We sometimes forget we can not do things at 55 as we did them at even 35 :D......

Up at 1:30 Am Thursday to bring Con and crew to the "Right Coast" for a direct flight and then spin around to make it home , then off to work.......total driving time ; 8 hours and did not "hit the pillow" till 11:30 Pm

Luckily the body needed 48 hours to "feel it" Now I am enjoying being OLD.....

    Everyone enjoy their weekend :yay:

    Morning all
Up early as usual. Got a haircut since I really needed it. Food shopping. Detailed the outside of the jeep.
2 coats of wax. Should have clay bared it but was not feeling it.
Put some soft top reconditioning on also. Arms are sore now. Will start on the interior later, maybe.
Taco is next. Lunch will have some Tacoma Mike cucumbers and tomatoes. Yea........

Congratulations and enjoy your retirement! Can't wait until I retire for good. Retired from the military 20 years ago but still working so guess I'm retarded, not retired.

Yep. I had Brandon weld an additional cross bar and fill the openings with perforated steel. Works well had a lady stuck on the ice in front of me 2 years ago and she had the pedal floored and in reverse. I started backing up but she got traction and never took her foot of the gas and slammed me pretty hard. Pieces of her bumper and taillights went flying over my truck, it bent it back a little but no damage. Wasn't intended for that more for the brush and trees that grow up on the logging spur trails I take in Superior National Forrest. But it did it's job.

Damn that is hot and humid, I'd start to melt. Up to 76 here now with 60% humidity supposed to get up to 77. Just shut the house up and turned on the AC. Clouds are starting to build and getting dark figure we will get a T storm this evening seems to be the standard this time of year. About the time I start a splatchcock chicken on the grill of course. Never stopped me before though and still better than grilling in a blizzard.

Ok ok I may developing OCD.
Pulled the jeep out to do the interior. Looks so nice. Looked over at the truck. NOT SO NICE.
I HATE WAXING. Expecially the roof.
Truck was pressure washed 2 days ago. MMMMMMMMM.
So I pulled out the Carnuba wax just to do the roof. Moved the truck inside. Did the roof.
Did the hood. So that's all done. Put the wax away. Moved the Maguires Quick wax out of the way.
    MMMMMMMMMM.
LOOKED AT THE JEEP ,LOOKED AT THE TRUCK.
Out came the quick wax. Did the roof, and the hood, and everything else. Lol.
So now I just need to spray it every couple of weeks. I do paste wax on horizontal surfaces and quick on everything else. I was way behind on doing this. So now I can blacken the plastic and spritzer the tires.
Then I can start on the interiors.
I can say Carnuba comes off harder than Turtle. Not sure if it's any better. At least it's done.
Filled the boat for an early start. Supposed to rain tomorrow at times so if I can get a few hours in I'll be happy.
Getting ready to order a few upgrades for Gohan. Another external pickup to replace what I have to try and cut down on the 60herts hum and a internal pezio to see if I can get a tinny sound off the license plate. So then all the switches i built into it will work. Then I'll be done.

My next project is a hand rail 3 string.
    Then my biggie.
I have 3 different ideas and I won't know until I start it.

I can't play them but boy I'm having so much fun building them.

Off for a bike ride In a bit.
