I think I'd be calling in with a case of the flu on that one!

Just filled the feeder with corn and put out my cameras today. Who's ready!? September 10th can't come fast enough.

Need to throw a few arrows down range soon. Several deer here at the house, but haven't put the camera out at my actual hunting spot yet. Should really get on that.

I'm gonna try to kill one with a bow for the first time this year. I'm left-handed, so it took forever for me to find a good used lefty bow, but I finally found a Bowtech Tomcat for pretty cheap. I've been practicing with it and am pretty accurate up to about 40 yards, so hopefully I can lure the deer in that close.

I started last year. Let several walk. One of my buddies gave me his old bowtech 82nd airborne. I don't have anywhere to really get a shot over about 40 yards up here. Especially during September. Everything is so thick it's hard to do anything past that.

Oct. 1st is opening for Bow here in MI. Gives me more time with scouting and food plots; already have cameras and feeders out! Good luck to those who have seasons sooner than me!

Archery starts mid-Sept. here. I'll go out a few times, but I don't get rolling till the temps as well as the leaves fall.

its not bad honestly...I wish we had wild boar but then you would have to deal with their destructive nature...so Im happy with seasons.

Only season here is for birds.
Deer, pig and goat can be shot year round......the deer are actually more destructive than the pig here.

no feral hogs that I know of here in Idaho...deer are manageable right now, so they have seasons for them.

    Goat season???

Nothing like spraying down a pack of wild hogs with an AR-15. I hate those damn things.

Yep. Got close enough yesterday to try to take it off of him. He would hang out for a second, but not long enough for that.
