Since there are air side airbags in the seat, how can they deploy with a leather seat cover?

As long as you out '09+ they make sure the stitching on most seat covers is air bag compliant break away

Ok so, I got the front seats installed today...Didn't get a chance to start on the back seats at all, I was pretty busy with stuff all day.

Question- How the fuck do you fully install the Center console cover? Does the leather cover the push button or what? I'm tempted to just pull the whole lid off and disassemble it just to make the leather nice and tight on it...but man, every time I pull it all tight and try to install the inner cover, everything just falls right out again

The cover goes under the button. You need tape, scissors, and an extra set of hands. I had to trim the cover a little, and notch a few places. Taped it all in place, then reinstall the inner cover. It doesn't fit as tight as the seat covers, but looks fine to me.

Did a quick search here for Clazzios vs. Katskins as I plan to switch to leather upholstery at some time on my '15 TRD Off Road. No results found.

Do any of you have a valid comparison between the two brands including, appearance, cost, and ease of installation?

Really miss the leather upholstery on my two previous GM full size pickups.

Yes this part was a pain! I didn't use tape though and don't know why I didn't now that having read you did that! Lol .. extra set of hands would have came in handy to though! The cover was a little on the big side though so I did notch holes in it for the screws and though it's not the tightest fit that I'd like, i'd say I got it to fit pretty good too. :)

Is it my understanding that the Katskins are installed only by a dealer.

After two years I absolutely love my Clazzios ... as a matter of fact the service rep at my dealership commented on them this morning ... thought I had somehow got them as an option on the OffRoad.

Is this the only thread for clazzios on second gen trucks. The only other thread I've come across is the 3rd genners.

Seriously! I want to see more on the second gen. I can't decide if the red stitching is too much...

    Hi AZoutdoorsman -
Those seats look great. I see your interior has the same light gray door panels as mine. What color combinations are your leather seats? I don't want to introduce another shade of gray to my truck, but those leather inserts almost look dead-on color-wise. Are you happy with the match? Thanks

What's the additional cost for the embroidery to the headrests? That sure looks sharp and makes the seats look "factory."

Its an extra $100 bucks for all 4 seats.(2 front and 2 side headrests in rear) Make sure to use the coupon code... i think it was "tacomaworld" and save a few bucks- i think i posted it somewhere and probably still works. It definitely sets off the look of the Interior, i wanted the "TRD" with gray letters so it would match the interior- AND IT DOES very nicely! However white letters would've made them stand out a little more in contrast with the black seats if thats what u want. Im extremely happy with them and they still look great!!

    STAY CLAZZY SAN DIEGO!

...And by the way when installing the Clazzio seats u have to tie strings together on bottom under seats and need to make as tight as possible. I made 2 knots as close to sides as possible and used zipties to sinch up u can link zipties if need be, It worked like a charm.
My arms were extremely tired and strained installing these bad boys. Just pulling them down takes a lot of force, But the end result is fantastic and It is worth it! I waited several hours before installing back seats of double cab after fronts were done. I shouldve probably waited longer but i was too excited to get done. My forearms etc. were so strained afterwards i could barely lift a drink up when it was all said and done-Lol !

Thanks! I actually like the gray embroidery on the black (in keeping with the interior's colors).

I was at Clazzio's site last night, and plain black w/black stitching (in stock) is $599.00 for my truck! What the what? Add embroidery, $699. Add a different color thread stitch, $799! Gosh, folks who got seats in the $400 dollar range made out great back when they purchased! I guess since the new model TACO is out, the older model's seat pricing has gone up!? I'll definitely reach out and speak with a rep via phone or chat to try to do better. They automatically seem to offer a 10% discount if you fill out some little "pop-up" thing in the righthand corner of their site; every little bit helps. I guess I'll stick with black/black w/black stitching!!!! I'd like the TRD logo embroidered on, BUT I also want a double din head-unit, new front headlights, blah, blah, blah... you know how it goes.

Wondering this also. I didn't see any where to indicate the seat airbags when choosing make/model on their site.
