In the market for some new tires, trying to figure out who I wanna go with. The Generals have been pretty good, the only complaint is the weight of them.

Gonna be even split of on/offroad, towing bikes/camping gear, and playing in the dunes.

The C rated ones that I have (because they're a softer compound) will probably wear slightly faster but they're pretty smooth and ride well on the highway. I don't DD my truck but take it to work once or twice per week and the tires are great. I've heard people have a little bit of a tough time balancing them but I haven't had any issues. Some people don't like the noise of the tires but it doesn't bother me at all. I usually have my stereo turned up anyways haha.

Not only do the tires perform well but they look so sick!!!

MTR's are definitely on the pricey side. I feel like the Trail Grapplers might be a good option, and the Open Country MTR doesnt look half bad from reviews too.
