    I'm torn. While i like the idea of it being up high like that, i don't want it flopping around or catching a lot of air at highway speeds.

    Is their a solid mount above the headlight you can work off of that? or see how it would look if you made a bracket off the top triple tree clamps

    I made one off the bolts in the back of the speedo/dash, it wobbled like crazy because they were only 8mm holes with rubber mounts. I'm afraid it would strip the studs out.

    If i moved it out farther on the front fender, it would cut off half my high beam. So its got to go back up top, i just have no where to put it with all my wires in the way

    Indeed, but I did 160 miles of dirt today, without refueling. I ride with 250F/450F guys sometimes. You can tell which ones by the rock chips in their helmets from the 300' roost of pain behind me. I do have to admit that about four miles into a 1st gear-slip the clutch-boulder patch I was missing my WR250F a little.
