I'm done for the day , just got done washing my truck and cleaning the interior . It's still very hot & humid , right now @ 2045hrs it's 98 degrees - feels like 109°

Can't believe how much water I drank today and when I was washing my truck an hour ago i was wearing my camel pack and drank all 3L of water in just under an hour

Funny thing is my area it can be just as warm in mid / late October . A couple years ago it was 117 degrees in the First part of October . It can be mid 90's into early November

I remember that weekend in October very well , I had my Camaro at the Route 66 rendezvous in San Bernardino that year . Nothing like cruising around the cruise route in a car with no interior and open header . The cruise route is just under 2 miles and takes 3 bottles of water , (2) to drink and one to pour over my head to stay cool

    Morning all.
Raining like hell. No Billy Bass today.
Ended up washing my windows last night too. So a nice vacuum and interior clean on both vehicles and I'll be done. If there is an upside to my miserable day today is the rain really beads up on the truck..lol
Not sure if I will do any more on them today but who knows.
Watching tv, having coffee and donuts.
    Oh observation.........
I used an old can of window cleaner. Like 15 years old from Chrysler. Smells different but dam it does a great job. Like everything else it seems new stuff doesn't work as well and more expensive. I used a new window cleaner then this stuff after. I actually took more junk off my windows. It might disintegrate my plastic lol but it cleans....
Hope everyone has a great day. Try to stay cool and safe.......

Good Morning Folks! :) Morning Mike I've tried a few different glass cleaners and I like to use mothers water spot remover on the exterior part of the windshield twice a year and it deep cleans the glass. I apply it like wax and then hand buff. For regular glass cleaning I recommend sprayway. I buy it at walley world in the household cleaners section and it works great! Have a great Day!

Good morning everyone. Boy you all make me feel like I am neglecting my truck! Mike your arms have to be tired, but not too tired to cast if the weather changes for you.

That is just crazy! Couple of days ago I made reservations for the first week of Oct. in a cabin on the North Shore of Lake Superior to grouse hunt for a week. There are 2 places I usually stay at and the one is much cheaper but they turn off the water come freeze up. Which is usually early Oct. but sometimes as late as mid October. Stay cool and keep drinking that water!!

Time to pack the shooting bag and guns in the truck and go kill some orange clay birds. Have a great day everyone.

    I'm a sucker for punishment..........
Seems like anything enjoyable needs to have pain involved. Seems like work has pain involved.
I sense a pattern here.... Lol
