What kind of extender is that? Is that top kayak sitting on top of something in the front of the bed? I am looking at options to haul a couple of kayaks as well.

They wouldn't change my oil at my 5k.

Also they turned off my seatbelt chime but as you start the truck it still chimes at you 5 times, very annoying

Waxed mine for the 1st time this morning, ( had mine going on 9 months). No clay bar. I used Meguiar's Cleaner Wax. It will be to cold in December where I'm at so I'll do mine in October then if it is not to cold I'll rub some more on in November.

FINALLY took the plunge and installed my Pop 'n Lock Tailgate lock.
Should have done it months ago. Less than 2 hours from start to cleanup.
Pretty straight forward and the PnL thread with vids and tips helped a ton.

Do you find that the pop n lock is loud? I am thinking about doing the same mod but am curious if i should put some dynamat inside the tailgate when I do the mod.

It's not as bad as everyone is making it out to be.
About as loud as the audible beeps in my opinion.
I was thinking about stopping by a local audio joint as well to see about some dynamat as well, but it's not a necessity.

I wanted something that would make it easier to slide lumber up onto the rack from the back and still be low profile so I came up with this:
I went to the local Yakima rack dealer and got a used 48" bar; then to the nearest bicycle shop and got 2 star-nuts for a 1" head tube, all total $25
After cutting the bar down to 47" I installed the nuts in the ends of the bar and bolted it in with a couple of 6mm - 1 machine screws from the local hardware store.
I'm really happy with it; the vinyl coating on the bar makes for a great low-friction surface and it's exactly the same height as the square bars so there is perfect weight distribution.

Dig the design, concept, and meaning.
Poor execution though with the flag unfortunately...
