2016 TRD Sport Rims on a 2006 G2 Tacoma

    This week I got new tires and rims put on my Black 2006 Tacoma. I was in need of new tires and took the opportunity to upgrade from the stock rims that were on the truck when I bought it used.

    I found a set of practically new 2016 TRD Sport rims on Ebay and put the Firestone Destination A/T tires on them (size 265/65-17 I believe).
    New TPMS were put on, not entirely sure what the shop did to set that up, I'll see if the light comes on.
    Had them put locking lugs on there since I'll be street-parking starting in the fall and that has me pretty paranoid...
    Basically no rubbing. The front tires brush the mud flap on one side or the other when the wheel is completely cut.

    I wanted to post some photos in case someone else was considering the same and wanted to see what these rims look like on a second generation truck (I know I'm not the first but hey).
    I think they look pretty darn good!
