Hi, I just bought a 1996 Tacoma Extra Cab. Its a great truck and in great condition. I am looking for some help/advice.

I want to give the truck a little bit of lift. I don't want to lift it too much, just a little bit higher than it is now, which is pretty low. Everything on it is stock and there have been no modifications to it. I have 5 lug, 67.1 CB, 6x14, 5x114.3 wheels and P215/70R14 tires on it right now. I was thinking maybe upgrading to 15" wheels might give it the slight lift I am looking for. I saw a similar tacoma with 235/70R15 tires and it looked great, and sat higher than mine.

Would I be able to put 15" wheels and those tires on my truck without throwing anything else off or having to make any other modifications?

The truck is going to be mainly for driving to work everyday, but I will also be taking it camping and on surf missions down baja. I won't be doing any serious off roading or anything like that but I would like it to be able to handle dirt roads without any trouble. My plan is to fit it with a camper shell and make a camping rig in the bed.

Any advice would be great. ThanksIMG_0266.jpg

Yes you can run 15" wheels, no problem. You have all the specs already (5x4.5 bolt pattern, >67.1 center bore). Just keep in mind that for 235mm wide tires, it's not advised to run wheels wider than 8".
