Someone Stole My Spare

    ....... and the bastards cut the cable. They didn't even leave the fitting on the end that holds the wheel.

    Anyone replaced the spare wheel cable and fitting?

    You sure it didn't just rot away and fall off somewhere? That's what happened to my '88. I was on the highway and it just dropped. Thank god it didn't hit anyone.

    Well that blows. You may have to replace the entire hanger assembly.

    Typical I am betting it rusted through and fell off!!

    Why go to all the trouble to crawl under there and cut things off.

    Much faster to steal the whole truck less work as well

    They fall off by themselves but are impossible to get down when needed
