I have a 2003 Tacoma SR5 Limited w/ factory cruise control. I just bought it and the previous owner stated that the cruise worked perfectly up till about a week ago, then just would not work. The "on" button will light the dash display, but cruise will not engage. Anyone?

is it a stand transmission? If so theres a position sensor on the clutch that goes bad or needs adjusted out. The clutch starts to sag and the truck thinks the clutch is engaging which disconnects the CC..
