One month lurker, first time poster and first time Toyota owner. My wife and I finally made a decision and we picked up an Inferno Sport 4x4 DCSB (wife loved the hood scoop). So far the only mods are:
1: Factory step tubes installed by the dealer at cost w/no labor charge
2: Removed the dealer decal off the tailgate (they don't pay me to advertise for them)
3: Removed the factory TRD Sport decals off the truck bed panels
4: Added Inferno decals to the glove box and door sills courtesy of rrentrop and a little $$
5: Added black decals to the tailgate courtesy of rrentrop and a little $$

    Up Next:
    1: Ceramic window tinting
2: LED lighting inside & out
3: Get rid of that dealer license plate frame and pick up a nice TRD one
3: Go broke from buying too many "must haves" for my Taco

We came from a 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid. Gonna miss the 47mpg but there's not anything else I'll miss about that car.

One month in and we love the truck. Definitely need to get the tranny TSB update, other than that it drives like a dream.

Fist post ever, so be kind. Hope it's in the right place. Today I picked up the camper shell for my Taco...pretty stoked to start working on a bed/camping build in the back. Any suggestions?

Whenever I buy a vehicle from a dealership. I tell them no dealer advertising. So far I have never had a issue. Saves from from having to remove any unnecessary decals.

I did that on the last two new vehicles but completely forgot on this one

Oh, I didn't forget these and will get a set soon enough. Just haven't figured out what logo I want.

Thank you. It was an easy decision once my eyes finally got to see an Inferno in person. My wife didn't like it at first but now she's 100% on board with the color.

Changed my tires to load C K02s in 265/70/17

I'm embarassed to say it, but this is my 4th set of tires on the truck since new (6th months ago!)

Hoping these will be it, and I don't have to start tire researching/shopping again.

Thanks! And not to bad.. My good friend Matt owns ICB Motorsport where I bought the wheels from. And he always hooks me up... Plus this was his one and only set in bronze and I knew eventually I wanted to buy a set of TEs. So I figured I'd jump on them while he still had them in stock

To my credit, the stock whee/tires I sold on CL.

The Geolanders, I bought for $500 from Tire rack, and ended up selling them on CL for $450 since I didn't want to ship them back on my dime.

The Michelins were about a grand, but America's Tire has a 30-day replacement guarantee if you don't like the tires, so I just had them swap over to the K02s. I paid like $37 difference total with road force balance.

So how do you like the KO2's so far? Have you driven them on the highway at speeds over 60mph? if so are they smooth and not real loud? ... sometime in the future i'd like to get those same tires. Do you know if they would fit fine without a lift ?
