I have a dilemma with my 99' Tacoma. In the middle of gathering everything for a 2.5-3" lift. I have the ICON 2.5 coilovers and UCAs for the front. For the rear I was planning on getting EMU leaf packs that would lift it around during 2.5" I was going to order the Fox 2.0 IFP rear shocks but when I called to place the order they said they would not work with anything more then 1" of lift. Anyone have any recommendations on a good shock that will fit the rear with 2-3" of lift?? I was under the impression the Fox would have worked since it said it would fit with stock and slightly lifted, to me 2-3" of lift is only a slight bit. Kinda put a damper on my day...Auto anything has 20% off and free shipping so it would have only been $200 for the pair of fox shocks.

I know of folks that run Bilstein's and Icon's in the rear, but I don't know part numbers off hand nor do I have experience with them.

Personally, I'm running the OME Nitrocharger Sport shocks with my Dakar pack plus D43XL extra leaf, and they've worked perfectly. Match up very nicely to my SAW 2.5 coilovers up front, too. They ride good on and off-road, and have proven reliable; the valving is well matched to the truck and I can't recommend them more if you're going with the Dakar springs.

    ARB part #60062, I believe.

I got maybe a hair under 2.5" of lift in the rear of my '04 when I installed 5100s with the 3 leaf AAL's from Headstrong (factory overload leaf retained).
