Which headlights you guys running? I was wanting some demon eye ones but 97 doesn't really work too well with that.

best $25 ive spent on this truck so far. Still looks oem for those who aren't into the modern headlight on an old truck thing. delivered really fast and comes with halogen bulbs installed on them. If you have sealed beams like I did this will make nighttime driving a THOUSAND times better. they have some on ebay that have halos and stuff like that, but that's not my style. They make some projector housings that don't look terrible if you want hids.

I did this same thing on an old Geo Metro XFI. I bought the euro spec Hella housings and made a wiring harness with relays as well, but that shouldn't be needed on these trucks. But those housings with the halogens replacing the sealed beams were an incredible improvement. Should automatically be the first thing any vehicle with sealed beams gets.

lmao those headlights are laughably bad! i wouldnt even recommend them for $25 unless you just need the housings like i did. not sure what was wrong with your sealed beams but my silverstars were brighter and actually had a useable beam that didnt look like a disco ball. yes i changed the bulbs to osrams.

trust me the photos that they show look bad, most chrome things look bad in photos, but they actually look really good on the truck and I guarantee they are brighter than any sealed beam. Its just a better technology there is a reason they stopped using sealed beam

i said that because i bought a couple sets including the fake projector ones to make retrofits. I tried them out just to see.

Yea that is understandable. All the available "projectors" looked quite Fast and Furious.
