Went out on a rental boat on local lake today. We haven't done any 'lake' fishing - so it was kinda boring. We did get a lot of bites and caught a nice smallmough bass on a spinner bait. Four day weekend. Tomorrow, we're wading the river again!!! Love summer ...and days off!

 

That's kind of how I am. I'm not real into girly things, drives my mom crazy lol. Hate shopping unless it's for truck stuff. I still wear some makeup, though I don't know how to do all the crazy makeup stuff no matter how many YouTube videos I watch on how to do it lol. I'll still dress up and get pretty on occasion. I like to wear comfortable stuff. I don't really consider myself a Tom Boy...but I do like my jeans, tshirts, and tennis

It's funny because I'll see other women running around in like booty shorts when we're out wheeling and I'm still in jeans. Mainly so bugs and snakes can't get me but I always wondered if it was just me. That's what was good about making the top ten in the Ladies Codriver Challenge. It was like 110+F and we were all rocking jeans LOL was great to be around so many like minded women.

 

I'm enjoying this thread where the girls get to make the rules

ok I just received "I can't believe this is even f n happening update on the lazy boss!"
Lazy Boss was given an ultimatum by the HR powers to be to either come back to work or process for termination.
The Lazy Boss is choosing to come back to work!
This is after harassment claims and lawsuit against my very competent Director (I had to make a statement) it is all BS!
I am giving my 2 weeks notice tomorrow. There is so much more I can even type. I can't believe this $h!T
I'll start picking and selling stuff on TW

Double Update:
Director is giving me a week off with pay so I don't have to deal with Lazy Boss.
He doesn't want me to quit nor does the Big Boss (Director's Boss).
Director has my back!!

 

Might be worth sticking around to watch the that is going to take place. You could always give notice then. They might be getting things in place to give them the boot and you a promotion!

 

Steve you are spot on! The Director, who's name happens to be Steve too, is a Ranger and Senior OPs SGT. I think he is going to eat LB for lunch.

 

Well you do whatever is right for you! But sometimes this kind of crap is worth the wait, if you know what I mean! They could possibly be getting what they have had coming for a long time and if I was you, I would hate to miss it!

I would like to see it go down and it was reassuring to hear they do not want to lose me.
It really stinks for the Director, LB really tried to tarnish a good man's reputation.
I do not believe LB will be able to stick to even the minimal standards without drama.
Our group really turned the program around in LB's 18 month absence.

So mom asked me what's on Christmas list (and I think it's a little early to be asking), and I told her I'd like a pair of Jimmy Choo's (uniform compliant of course) and sliders for my truck. She said she would think about the shoes...I guess sliders aren't being considered. Haha.

So basically I would say I am a girly girly with expensive taste but at the same time I love messing with my truck and being outside as much as possible. I have polar opposite tendencies depending on the occasion.

You should take a break from adulting and go kayaking! And fishing too since you are on the water anyway....

 

I have multicolored hair, wear jeans and t-shirts, and own a business......I got to where idgaf what people think........my truck has pink accents and that is mostly it for the girly girl shizzz.....that and lifetime movies......and some chicken flicks. I kayak and sup.....fish....do fitness and sweat like a beast....
