I've seen about 5-6 QS TRD PRO 4Runners come thru local dealers here. 2 white TRD PROs and 0 Infernos.

This is why I love internet forums. It's always he said/she said, someone knows someone who said this, and I heard this from XYZ dealer and 90% of the time they are spewing BS and are wrong. Just goes to prove that no one knows anything until the actual product is released.

Yep! They still aren't worth it. After tax, fees, etc, it will be close to that!

You do realize a Raptor is substantially more expensive than a PRO to purchase, drive and insurance. But if you can afford it, go for it.

Good luck on getting the Raptor at MSRP. The insurance hasn't been factored in on a Raptor nor that it will require premium gas.
Besides haven't you heard about the issues with carbon buildup on the ecoboost engines?

With the roughly $10K hike from from model to model on a well equiped Platinum, it's not hard to imagine the Raptor going for close to 70K with a well equipped supercrew.

I drove a 2010 Tundra DC 5.7 for 6 years and traded for a 2016 TRD OR 2WD Tacoma, miss the Tundra, size, power and room!

The only thing I miss about the truck is not caring about the bed. I could throw anything back there and not care if it bounced around. In the 4runner I care about the interior. All other aspects, I love the 4runner.

    None...yet
I worked at FoMoCo when the Raptor released. We had constant complaints of "unexpected airbag deployment." My favorite was when we could recall the crash sensor box. It records things like throttle position, engine load, speed, 3 axis Gs. Guy snapped both front half shafts and set off all the airbags. "I was just driving along". (That's the dummy go-to). Crash box replay said, 100% throttle, 58mph, 96% load. Then suddenly 100% throttle still, but 0% load and 0 vertical Gs and over 100mph only 1 second later. Next reading at deployment was 4.someGs, 100% load again, and 55mph. (Airbags).
"Ever take it off any sweet jumps?"

42-43k for a auto 17' TRD Pro? Be ready for the realization that you will pay over 50k OTD for it. You'll walk into the dealer and it will be marked up the a$$. You then will try to negotiate and the dealer will tell you to beat feet and leave.. Thank god I got my 16 trd OR, no premium package. I ordered with just the tow package, all weather mats and hood protection for 31800. I saw the window sticker at 40k due to markups. Lucky I knew the store manager and got it at or little under invoice.. Pro is a sick looking truck, not for 50k+
