I had a TRD S/C installed by a dealer at 18k. Probably around 25k I installed the aFe Stage 2 Intake. I did not notice a power difference (wasn't expecting one) however I can hardly hear the whine now. I have become a little paranoid thinking there is something wrong - I'm sure I am just getting used to the HP, but it doesn't feel as fast either (now at 40k). Below are before and after videos. What good is this thing if I can't rev it up and have people outside the truck hear it whine? The one thing I can think of is that I may be pulling some hot air, because the tube going from the air box to the fender does not line up correctly, leaving a small gap. Also are you guys leaving the front plug in on the air box? I considered buying a Volant air dam/scoop and running it out the front like I've seen some guys do.
