cw50must 2011 DCSB 4wd sort-of-build

This is for me to document and keep track of what I have done and not done to my truck. I have some what of a history with offroad vehicles starting with a 1984 F150, then moving to a 1998 Jeep Cherokee (still have) and then with my intro to Toyotas with a 2000 Tacoma 4x4 TRD (still have)

My current build is a 2011 Toyota Tacoma DCSB 4x4 TRD OR. I bought it in July of 2013. MY reason for getting this truck was to have something more modern and with more room. It serves as my daily driver to my boring desk job, but also for weekend adventures. Most of the offroad use here is what I would consider light use. Getting to hiking trails, lakes, camp sites, no serious rock crawling or anything, I still have a Jeep.

I'll start with a picture from when I first got it and then how it looks now.

truck's looking good! did you have to do any trimming to accommodate those tires?

 

No 265s fit just fine without any trimming. that's actually what was on it when I got it stock.

 

Here are some pics from the suspension install, this was when I still had stock UCA. The UCA upgraded happened down the road.

 

Some from my light bar install. I put it in the lower grill. I liked it hidden and tucked away.



I also only needed to remove the grill to work in there.
