Did the ECGS bushing replacement of my needle bearing, replaced both wheel bearing hub assemblies with new ones from nj636, and removed my diff drop spacers. I now have the weirdest/slightest vibration/high pitched "rattle" noticeable most while decelerating at around 12-15mph. Almost sounds more like something loose than a driveline vibe. At first I thought it was a loose heat shield behind one of my rotors or possibly a loose skid plate (factory skids). That's the closest comparison of the sound I can think of. I checked every bolt that I removed and they were all fine. It sounds a lot like a loose rotor heat shield, but both are fine. Any thoughts? Thanks guys

Are you on or off the brakes when this is happening?

It's happening when I'm off the brakes coasting to a stop at around 12-15 mph just before I start applying the brakes

It might be happening on acceleration too, just might not be hearing it due to engine noise from acceleration

Ok, then you don't actually *feel* the vibration, you just hear it?

Then its probably going to be something loose. I think you're going to have to hunt it down the hard way, unfortunately.

I actually think I just found out what it is (hopefully). When they (local 4wd shop) install a diff drop kit, they also have to add spacers to drop the skid plates. Well when I removed the diff drop spacers I also removed the spacers that drop the skid plates. When I reinstalled the skids it put the rear most skid right up against the front crossmember. I hit on the skid with the palm of my hand and heard the same noise. So I'm gonna drop the skid plate and put a couple pieces of thin rubber to dampen the skid on the crossmember. I'll keep my fingers crossed and post back tomorrow with my results. Thanks for all the help

when you take the skid off, go for a drive to make sure its the skid making the noise

Yep, that's gonna be my plan, that should tell me for sure. If not, I'll move to the carrier bearing and remove that, then go from there. Thanks for all the input
