    20160805_143405_HDR.jpg Hi all. I just bought a new (to me) tacoma and have already read about 6000 threads on here! So glad that there is such a helpful community of taco owners.
    Having owned an old pre-taco toyota pick up in the 90's and driving several friends 1st gen tacomas I have known for a long time this was the truck for me, so glad to finally have one!
    I got a 2002 SR 5 V6 4x4 xtracab with 92k miles on it. Really clean and in great shape inside and out. Right off the bat i put in durafit seat covers and husky floor liners. I'll bring it to a dealer to fix the (potential corrosion) recall on the spare tire mount (which looks fine, but why not...) I plan on having the whole timing belt/water pump deal done pretty soon and also an alignment and tire rotation as the tire wear indicates a bit of camber. After those perhaps leaf springs. They have positive arch behind the axle but are flat/negative in front. Probably a new set of tires within a year, and then I'm hoping that I'll be good for a while!
    I'm going to bring it to a mechanic to just give it a once over and let me know if anything else might need taking care of. Any suggestions of things I should double check? Thanks!
